Ubisoft announced today that its new tactical first person shooter, Tom Clancy?s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter achieved record sales for its first week of launch.
Since its release for the Xbox 360 on March 8, North American sales have topped 240,000 units, making the game Ubisoft?s fastest week 1 selling game ever. European sales were also impressive, selling over 120,000 units in just three days, making the title the fastest selling Xbox 360 game ever in France, Germany and the U.K.

It is also showcasing our studios ability to use the added capacity offered by the next generation console to their best”, stated Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer of Ubisoft Entertainment.
