Majesco released some details on the soundtrack to their upcoming game [i]Advent Rising[/i] this morning. Being recorded at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA, the game’s soundtrack will comprise of a completely original score that will be composed by some award-winning talent.
Alongside a 70-piece Hollywood union orchestra lead by Emmy Award winner conductor Mark Walters and Grammy winner Armin Steiner, the games’ composition and sound design will be handled by another award-winning game sound designer Tommy Tallarico.
“Our approach with Advent Rising was to create a game play experience similar to that of an epic film,” said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing for Majesco. “Creating a powerful soundtrack was a key component to evoking a higher level of player emotion and allowing the player to feel completely immersed in the Advent universe while playing the game.”
