If you ask 360 owners about the backwards compatibility issue, most will tell you that right now it’s pretty much a joke. Sure Microsoft started out strong with over 200 compatible Xbox games, but since then the flow of Xbox 1 games to be added to the list has slowed to a trickle at best. Instead of adding the cream of the crop like Full Spectrum Warriors, Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix, Prince of Persia 2 & 3, and Dead or Alive: Ultimate, they put games like Barbie Horse Adventures: Wild Horse Rescue on the list. Gamers were okay with some of the odd choices because there was a promise of more to come, and most were hoping that eventually the high profile newer games would be added almost immediately. Now it looks like the days of backwards compatibility are numbered, but hopefully not before future games like Destroy All Humans 2, Painkiller, and Bully are released and added to the list. In true head scratching move, Microsoft VP Peter Moore said in an interview with Kikizo that “Nobody is concerned anymore about backwards compatibility. We under promised and over delivered on that. It's a very complicated thing . . . very complex work.” Moore went on to say “More are coming, but at some point, you just go, there's enough, let's move on, or people aren't as worried about a game being backwards compatible – and I like to think we've upheld our end of the bargain in making at least two or maybe three hundred games backwards compat.” [p]
