In a move that will surprise practically no one, those crazy ninjas (and money-makers) of Naruto, who previously showed up stateside in video game form in Naruto: Clash of the Ninja, will be back in two video games to be released this fall. The two upcoming video games will be titled Naruto: Clash of the Ninja 2 and Naruto: Ninja Council 2, for the GameCube and Game Boy Advance, respectively.
In Clash of the Ninja 2, expect the same sort of non-stop ninja combat Naruto game fans have grown accustomed to in the last game. The newness comes in the form of the character total being increased to 23, all new multiplayer modes for up to four players, and survival and time-attack modes for single-player. Ninja Council 2, meanwhile, will build upon the storyline of the first Ninja Council, and will allow players to choose between three different characters to play, and will allow switching on the fly. There will be new multiplayer modes that will include both cooperative and competitive modes.
