THQ annouced today that [i]Big Mutha Truckers 2[/i] is in development. Being handled by Eutechnyx in the United Kingdom, the game will feature a go anywhere, anytime philosophy that has been expanded this time around. Players will have the freedom to deviate from their routes and explore highways, take back roads, and explore any city you decide to visit.
“With sales of the original Big Mutha Truckers exceeding one million units, we are excited to bring more down home fun to the major consoles with this second installment to the top-selling brand,” said Tiffany Ternan, senior vice president North American sales and distribution, THQ.
“Big Mutha Truckers 2 is sure to provide a fun-filled experience with comedic characters, on-road action and strategic wheeling and dealing.”
[i]Big Mutha Truckers 2[/i] will ship for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox when it arrives next summer.
