[i]City of Villains[/i] has gone live in North America. The stand alone sequel to NCsoft?s PC MMO [i]City of Heroes[/i] allows players to indulge in their super villain fantasies by building massive evil lairs and completing dastardly deeds. Players can conduct heists, abductions and infiltrations, and will be forced to defend their lairs from superheroes and other villains. The game will also include new player-versus-player (PvP) zones where [i]City of Villains[/i] players can battle against [i]City of Heroes[/i] players.
[i]City of Villains[/i] is anticipated to sell for $49.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the collector?s DVD edition. Each edition will include the first month of online play for free, and then players will have to pay a monthly subscription of $14.99. NCsoft has also announced that current [i]City of Heroes[/i] players will be able to subscribe to both games for the single price of $14.99 a month.
