Today Bethesda Softworks announced that their survival horror PC game, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth will ship March 27th. Dark Corners is based upon the Call of Cthulhu, paper-and-pencil role-playing game, which is inspired by the author H.P. Lovecraft.
Call of Cthullu: Dark Corners of the Earth is a first person horror game teamed with puzzle solving and combat elements. The game will feature an immersive and exhilarating experience and unique combat though it will do this without the use of a heads-up-display.
Dark Corners is set in the 1920?s and is based upon the Cthulhu Mythos writing of Lovecraft. Lovecraft, whose writing has inspired Stephen King and Anne Rice, details stories of dark realms and atrocious evil. Call of Cthullu: Dark Corners of the Earth will be rated M for Mature and be available for the PC, and was released in late 2005 for the Xbox entertainment system.
