For it?s upcoming game, X-Men: The Official Game, Activision announced today that it has pooled talent from the worlds of music, comics and movies. The end result, they say, is a game that will immerse players in an original storyline that serves as a prelude to Twentieth Century Fox and Marvel Studios? upcoming film, ?X-Men: The Last Stand.?
X-Men: The Official Game, is the only game to be tied to the upcoming movie and is co-written by Zak Penn, co-screenwriter of the film, and legendary comic book writer Chris Claremont. Scoring the music is Chance Thomas, renowned composer for such video games as King Kong, Lord of the Rings and the Unreal series.
The game itself will be fighting/action similar to X-Men Legends and will feature Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Iceman. Check out the Mygamer downloads section for trailers.
