Doodle Jump is making the jump from mobile devices to the Kinect on June 28, 2013. Besides the obvious new full body control, this version of Doodle Jump features new enemies, new pads to bounce on, and even boss battles. It is a little strange to see a game launch on a Friday, but the Doodler is no ordinary guy himself. Official details below:
Lima Sky and D3Publisher has confirmed that Doodle Jump for Kinect is coming to the Xbox Live on June 28, 2013. Now, you’ll be able to jump onto platforms, blast away baddies and navigate a treacherous vertical ascent in an all new motion controlled Doodle Jump game.
Developed by Smoking Gun Interactive in collaboration with Lima Sky, Doodle Jump for Kinect delivers a fresh, new take on the simple, accessible, tried-and-true action of the original. Players move their bodies left and right to control the Doodler, shoot nose balls with arm gestures, fly with a flap of the arms and more, with other unique body motion controls. Doodle Jump for Kinect brings exclusive content to Xbox 360 that has never before been seen in the series: three brand-new worlds, treacherous bosses, challenging achievements, engaging power-ups and intuitive gesture controls.
Doodle Jump for Kinect will be available on Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft Points on June 28, 2013. It requires Kinect to play.
