Atari is at it again. The once beloved Driver series, which has seemingly taken a turn for the worst over the years, is now headed to the PSP in the form of Driver: Parallel Lines. In an attempt to bring the franchise back to glory, Tanner, the main protagonist from every Driver game to date, will be replaced with a new character, and the story will be set in New York City circa 1978. While the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions of Driver: Parallel Lines are being developed by Reflections Interactions, the PSP version is being developed by the well known Sumo Digital.
Driver: Parallel Lines for PS2 and Xbox is set for release on March 14th. No date has been scheduled for the PSP version as of yet.
