The next in the [I]Dynasty Warriors[/I] series is set to invade the Xbox 360 and PS2.
[I]Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires[/I] puts players in control of the armies of ancient China as they sweep across the country?s 25 regions and attempt to build an empire. Players will employ diplomacy and overwhelming force to achieve their goals. Players can issue orders to their officers individually or signal general orders for all to follow. The army can attack, defend, and set up ambushes.
Armchair generals can unlock modes and items throughout the game. A 2-player co-op for both Empire and Free modes can be unlocked, and players can control over 200 different officers. There is also an encyclopedia which covers the real history of ancient China for curious players to browse.
The Xbox 360 version will include a cinematic widescreen presentation, and pump up the sounds of the battle field in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
[I]Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires[/I] is set to ship on March 28th for the Xbox 360 and PS2 systems. It will sell for a suggested retail of $29.99.
