When the PS3 was in its hour of darkness, Sony fans could always fall back on one thing: “At least Final Fantasy XIII and Metal Gear Solid 4 are still exclusives.” Now that statement is only half-true.
The 360 got a huge boost today with the announcement that the foremost RPG series in America is going to leave the long-established Playstation exclusivity, and have a simultaneous release with its PS3 counterpart. Outside of that, details for the game are scarce, in particular when it comes to concessions that would need to be made to port to the technologically inferior Xbox 360. Regardless, this is something that should bring a smile to the face of every 360 owner, and a tear to the eye of every PS3 owner.
