Ubisoft and [I]TimeSplitters[/I] developer Free Radical unveil their next-generation FPS at E3.
[I]Haze[/I] takes place in a future world where military operations are carried out by multinational corporations. Jake Carpenter is a soldier in one of these outsourced armies, the Mantel army, and is seeking fulfillment by fighting for a good cause. The Mantel corporation's soldiers use high-tech weapons and vehicles, and biomedical support.
Players will start out in a war-torn South African country where Mantel corp. has been sent in to battle a rebel faction – The Promise Hand.
[I]Haze[/I] is being developed for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and is scheduled to release in early 2007.
With the FPS pedigree of both Ubisoft and Free Radical – [I]TimeSplitters, Far Cry, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter[/I] – [b]Haze[/b] will be one game Mygamer.com will keep its eye on.
