Those who watched the Nintendo event that occurred earlier today may have noticed some tweaks in the layout of the Wii’s controller. Well, earlier today the Japanese Nintendo site launched outlining the finalized controller for the Wii, and unveiled the new “Classic” controller. The main additions to the controller are the absolute confirmation of a rumble feature and a speaker built into the controller. Also, the analog stick on the nunchaku controller has a more trigger-like button on it. The Classic Controller is strikingly similar to the Sony dual shock controller, with the standard diamond-formed A/B/X/Y controllers on the right, a control pad on the left, two control sticks and shoulder buttons on the top. The Japanese site can be viewed here.
