Another mish-mash sports game is heading Nintendo’s way, this time courteously of Electronic Arts. EA Playground, which is already drawing comparisons to Wii Sports, is set for release on the Wii and DS.
While we’re still waiting for an official announcement from EA, screenshots have surfaced showing games such as tetherball, racing remoter controlled cars, and talks of dodgeball. The DS version will contain a couple exclusives such as bug hunt and spit balls.
With a couple of Wii excusive titles in the works, EA is making a definite impact in the Wii market and we can look forward to them in the Wii’s catalog for quite a bit.
