America’s largest fighting game tournament, the Evolution Championship Series, has begun. The Mecca of fighting games once again brings a dynamic lineup of titles, with this year featuring the standard Street Fighter III: Third Strike and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 duo, while welcoming newcomers Soul Calibur IV, Street Fighter IV, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. In addition to the main events, there are loads of side-tournaments available, featuring throngs of games from Super Smash Bros. to Blazblue.
As a bonus, Evo has gotten a huge surge of support from publishers, with Namco-Bandai teaming up to deliver the first Tekken 6 console tournament, with Aksys doing the same for Blazblue.
