Vivendi Universal Games gave fans of the popular F.E.A.R. PC shooter something to be thankful for on Wednesday when they released a software development kit (SDK) for the game. The kit includes options for modifying and creating new content for the single-player and online multiplayer games, as well as server software for Linux and Windows.
Other updates to F.E.A.R. have been made, including the addition of Punkbuster anti-cheat software for online gaming. VU Games hopes to improve the in-game experience as a result of these changes and the SDK release.
