This has been a big year for Final Fantasy. Not only did the US finally see release of the CG movie sequel to Final Fantasy VII (also known as Advent Children), but the MMO known as Final Fantasy XI has also seen an expansion thrown its way. The remake for Final Fantasy III on the DS looks fantastic. However, gamers have been gearing up for the latest entry in the main series, Final Fantasy XII, and finally, we have an American date.
Final Fantasy XII, the long awaited and heralded RPG for the PS2, will hit US shores on October 31st, 2006. Yes, on Halloween. A Limited Edition version of the game will also be sold at all EB and GameStop stores.
Considering the praise that FFXII is getting in Japan, the question won't be whether or not it will be good. The question is…how many cosplayers will show up dressed as Cloud when this game hits this Halloween?Come back here later this year for a full review!
