A new addition to the trend some have dubbed ?the urbanization of gaming? was announced today by Ubisoft. [i]Flow: Urban Dance Uprising[/i], will be the industries first breakdancing and hip hop video game.
The game features classic breakdance gameplay set to a hip hop sound track of over 50 songs from the likes of the Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow, and Eric B & Rakim. Players will be able to compete with 10 different characters against as many as seven other players at a time. To complete the 100 breakdancing challenges across the six modes of play, players will utilize the more that 100 distinctive dance moves.
“[i]Flow: Urban Dance Uprising’s[/i] infectious hip-hop soundtrack, authentic b-boy moves and rich 3D environments will make it one of the most exciting dance games to play,” said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft.
[i]Flow: Urban Dance Uprising[/i] will be released worldwide holiday 2005, exclusively for the Playstation 2.
