Although the multiplayer in Ace Combat 4 was extremely bland, it was better than nothing – which is what’s sitting on the tarmac. While lack of multiplayer is less than encouraging, the single player in Ace Combat 5 is largely similar to what we were treated to in 2001, just with more of everything. Campaign Mode’s missions have almost doubled from eighteen to thirty and the roster of twenty-one aircraft has more than doubled to fifty and many planes have several versions with varying paint jobs
