With over 150,000 gamers flocking to Forza Motersport via Xbox Live, it comes to no surprise that Microsoft Game Studios has now posted more than 1,400 leader boards for competition in every category on the [a] http://www.forzamotorsport.net[aa] official Forza website[/a].
The leader boards are split up into two major categories: Best Drivers, and Driver Ranking. The boards can be found at the community section of the Forza site [a] http://community.forzamotorsport.net/live/ [aa] here.[/a]
Best Driver consists of recording specific times for Hotlaps on circuit tracks, finishing times for Point-to-Point (P2P) races, scores from Autocross races, and times from Time Trials. The data for Hotlaps, Autocross, and P2P races is organized by car class. Whenever you look at a ranking for one of these categories, you?ll also see the car that was used in that race.
Driver Ranking involves a section that lists the top one thousand drivers based on their ELO ratings. When looking up a Gamertag in the search engine, gamers can find an ELO rating and an overall rating for Hot Laps, P2P, Autocross, and Time Trials. This is followed by a listing of total time online, total number of online races, and the number of times a gamer has finished in first, second, and third place. This is all personalized for each players stats.
Don?t forget all this doesn?t happen immediately after a race or competition is finished. It does take time to transfer the data from Xbox Live to the leader boards shown on the site. A little patience never hurt anyone so suck it up and get out there an race.
