Too bad he's never cried."[p]While the above statement may be false, it can now be said that video games can at least help someone get over the horrid disease.[p]Fourteen-year-old Saif Azar, an avid video game fan, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphonia in 2003. However, after playing the PC game Re-Mission, he was armed with the knowledge to fight cancer. [p]Re-Mission was developed by HopeLab, and was part of a study that showed that young people battling cancer were more likely to get better if they played the game. Re-Mission is a game that stars a character named Roxxi, that destroys cancer cells throughout the body. Looks like cigarette-smoking Solid Snake should start wearing a patch…[p]Re-Mission is available now for free to teens and other young people who have cancer.
