Storm City Entertainment, a publisher of interactive entertainment products, today announced release information for “Jewel Master Egypt,” a story-based, match-three puzzle game developed by cerasus.media for play on Nintendo DS™. November 3, 2009 has been confirmed as the shipping date for the game, with in-store product availability shortly thereafter.
“This game is totally addictive fun,” said Steve Newton, President of Storm City games. “It’s more than just a fast paced puzzler. Strategy elements push the player to make quick choices within a society-building storyline to create one of History’s great civilizations.”
Beyond the “typical” match-three puzzle game, Jewel Master Egypt invites savvy gamers to match resources and stockpile material to “build” ancient Egypt from the ground up. By shifting and matching different resource icons, players earn assets that allow them to build and advance their civilization. Evolve from a small fishing village into a formidable metropolis and empire, while rising in status from hardworking farmer to General or even Pharaoh.
“We are delighted to have signed a deal with Storm City Entertainment to bring Jewel Master Egypt to North American DS™ owners,” said Stefan Julke, Managing Director of cerasus.media. “It’s an exceptional gaming experience, and one that fits in with both company’s visions of casual game fun and entertainment.”
Look for “Jewel Master Egypt” at major North American Retailers, and via online retail outlets this Holiday season.
