In a recent press release from Empire Interactive and Bugbear Entertainment, [i]FlatOut 2[/i] has been announced for the Xbox, PS2, and PC with a release date planned for the first half of 2006. The original [i]FlatOut[/i] was a mixture of driving/racing and total destruction that fans seemed loved. Sales of [i]FlatOut[/i] are upwards of 600,000 units and look to break 1,000,000 before all is said and done. Empire Interactive promises to give the people what they want, with more rewards to cause even more damage to the over 2000 breakable objects and opponents on every track. [i]FlatOut 2[/i] will feature brand new Demolition Arenas to earn bonus money for upgrades as well. The Rag Doll stunts will make a return with improved launch mechanics and a more in depth scoring system. 12 new events are in the works for gamers to play in the Rag Doll Championship and online Rag Doll modes. [i]FlatOut 2[/i] will support eight players online for Xbox and PC, while the PS2 will have up to six people. Voice communication will be included for all.
The original [i]FlatOut[/i] is available now and is rated T for teen.
