Atari announced earlier today that [i]Godzilla: Save the Earth[/i] for the PlayStation 2 has shipped and should arrive in stores starting today.
[i]Save the Earth[/i] is a sequel to [i]Destroy All Monsters Melee[/i]. Basically, take DAMM’s ferocious combat and add online play. An Xbox version is slated to ship on 11/22.
Both versions feature online modes that will allow up to four players to team up and take control of:
-Mothra
-Space Godzilla (you know you were hoping for this one)
-Ghidorah
-Others, of course!
The players can fight against one another, or try to destroy as much of the city as possible before the other players accomplish the same goal.
[i]Godzilla: Save the Earth[/i] is rated “T” for Teen and carries an MSRP of $39.95.
