Rockstar Games announced earlier today that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is making its way to the Xbox and PC. For those who don’t know, San Andreas follows the exploits of Carl Johnson, a man who escaped the pressures of life in his old neighborhood, Los Santos. He discovers upon returning home that his family is torn apart and that things are slowly changing for the worse.
The game recently made a “sweep” of sorts at Spike TV’s Video Game Awards Show as well, taking four awards during the night and has recieved many other prestigous honors since being released. Not much else has been revealed as of yet, but fans can naturally expect better graphics and slightly more options than the PlayStation 2 version.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will arrive in North American stores for the Xbox and PC on June 7, followed by a release in Europe three days later.
