Registration begins tonight for the much anticipated Halo 3 multiplayer beta. Starting in spring 2007, select gamers who register at http://www.halo3.com will have an opportunity to get a sneak peak at and give feedback for the highly anticipated end of the Halo trilogy.
Bungie requires those interested to be at least 17-years of age and a citizen of the United States or Canada. A pro Xbox 360 system with a valid Xbox Live gold account is also required. Bungie has not stated how long the registration will be open, or how the selection process will work, but as of this writing, the site is moving incredibly slow, most likely from the large amount of gamers clamoring to get their hands on the upcoming sequel.
In related news, a brand new, 60-second ad for Halo 3 will air tonight during Monday Night Football on ESPN. The ad will be a mix of computer animation and live action and is expected to air 5:50 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. PST and will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace later tonight.
