Paradox Interactive, makers of the strategy game series [i]Hearts of Iron[/i], today have released the demo version of the upcoming latest addition to the series, [i]Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday[/i]. According to Paradox Interactive, the demo of [i]Doomsday[/i] will be about three hours long, and will allow players to experience the full scope of the game within the time and level limits.
[i]Doomsday[/i] is an expansion to the World War II-based strategy game [i]Hearts of Iron II[/i]. In [i]Doomsday[/i], World War II continues in open conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union, and morphs into World War III. [i]Doomsday[/i] promises [i]Hearts of Iron II[/i] gamers a sizeable makeover of the game engine, a revamp of the battle mechanics and enemy intelligence, as well as a modified technology tree.
The demo can be downloaded soon from the MyGamer downloads section. [i]Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday[/i] is expected to ship to stores on April 4.
