Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that the [i]Heroes of the Pacific[/i] video game for the Playstation 2 and XBOX entertainment systems has achieved gold status and will be released for retail later this month. The WWII aerial combat-action game, developed by IR Gurus, will be available for consoles on September 30, 2005 and for the PC in October.
The game begins with the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and continues to let the player participate in some of the most memorable Pacific battles of WWII.
