Eidos announced earlier this morning that the Hitman series is making its return in the newly revealed Hitman: Blood Money. The game’s story begins when Agent 47’s contract agency is mysteriously eliminated in a number of hits, leaving him to think he is next in line. He then travels to America to prepare himself to make a killing.
In addition, Agent 47 is paid cold, hard, cash in in the game now, and how it is spent goes on to affect the things he can do. Being powered by a new version of Io’s Glacier engine, Blood Money is aiming for a truly realistic experience.
“The Hitman series is one of Eidos’ biggest franchises and goes from strength to strength with every new instalment,” said Eidos CEO Mike McGarvey. “Io-Interactive is one of the world’s most accomplished developers, and yet again has raised the stakes in terms of graphics and gameplay with Hitman: Blood Money.”
Be on the lookout for Hitman: Blood Money in the spring of next year for all major platforms.
