IDG Entertainment is helping Gaming take its first baby steps into the world of Reality Shows.

Creating Kaos hopes to be a true David and Goliath story. First time game developer Damon Grow hopes to take his 40-person, all volunteer game development company – Shattered Reality Interactive – and take on the big boys in creating the world’s best MMO.

"There's a 1 in 100,000,000 chance you can beat World of Warcraft," said John Romero, legendary designer of the Quake and Doom series, and on-camera commentator in the Creating Kaos series. "And if you've never designed a game before, no chance."

Grow seems to remain inspiringly – if not insanely – headstrong, despite losing his relationship with his wife and child to his game development obsession.

"There's humor, real drama, and some amount of insanity," said Wendy Chan, series director and video producer for IDG Entertainment. "But throughout it all, you can't help being touched by Damon's commitment and unwavering optimism."
