Indie Games Con (IGC), a gathering of independent game developers from around the world, is scheduled for October 8 – 10, 2004 in Eugene, OR.
“Indie Games Con is a great place for us to present the digital distribution opportunity to developers looking to harness the power of broadband to give all gamers a chance to play their titles,” said Infinium Labs president and COO Kevin Bachus. “Digital distribution services like our flagship Phantom Game Service also offer consumers an extremely broad selection of games they might not otherwise get to play.”
IGC is designed to be a summit meeting of like-minded developers who have the shared goal to focus on collaboration and building community. The conference is designed to strike a balance between informative sessions, developer networking, product showcasing, awards and LAN parties.
In addition to Infinium Labs, premier sponsors for IGC include NVIDIA Corp., Apple Computer, LinSpire and TLC. Supporters include GameDev.net, Game Development Search Engine, Wild Duck Brewery and Max Gaming Technologies.
