Jack Thompson strikes again

Upon hearing that the first mission in Grand Theft Auto IV was to kill a lawyer who believes that “Guns don’t kill people, video games do,” Thompson jumped into action saying the entire section removed from the game, or else. Having been a strong supporter of video game violence causing young adults to kill other people, Thompson clearly saw this attack on an unnamed, fictional, lawyer as an act of aggression towards himself. The open letter sent to Strauss Zelnick, Take Two’s chairmen, has stated that they have until Friday to remove this from the game or he will be forced to take action.

It is also import to note that Florida, the state that Thompson practices law in, has made several attempts to have the lawyer disbarred for his various “projects” throughout the years and is currently pursing such an action now.
