Recently Ray Muzyka, joint CEO of BioWare, announced that the company is in fact working on a sequel to the still relatively new series, [i]Jade Empire[/i]. Not many details have been revealed, but Muzyka had this to say, ?BioWare definitely plans to continue the [i]Jade Empire[/i] franchise. The [i]Jade[/i] team did a great job with the first game in that series; we have great teams working on all of our games here. We?ve also said in the past that we were working on not just one, but two Xbox 360 titles.?
This certainly sounds like the [i]Jade Empire[/i] sequel will eventually be a 360 title. This is not to say that it will be an Xbox exclusive, or even that it will feature the same kind of gameplay that veterans of the franchise loved so much in the original. Not much else is known about the follow up project. No characters or details of the new story have been announced at present time.
