JOYTECH – a third party gaming accessories and peripherals company owned by Take-Two Interactive – will preview a list of new accessories for the Xbox 360 and PSP at this year's GC Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany.
The pride and joy of JOYTECH's Leipzig lineup will be the Xbox 360 Control Center 540C. The control center is aimed at gamers and AV enthusiasts alike. It will allow gamers to connect their Xbox 360 and five other AV components into just one input on their TV and sound system. This will allow for multiple AV setups without switching cables for gaming. Plus, several video ports will be HD compatible, and it will have a built in 6 port Ethernet switch to connect to Xbox live, a PC, or other networked devices. It looks to be a versatile home theater and gaming accessory for the avid AV-phile. Oh yeah, it looks like an Xbox 360 too.
The PSP will be getting two accessories – the Power Kit and the Power Grip – to prolong battery life and make playing more comfortable. The Power Kit provides a new rechargeable battery pack with 30% greater capacity than the standard PSP battery but at an identical size. The Power Grip is a multifunctional peripheral. It will house a sun visor that can double as a stand for watching movies, a pair of rubber grips for comfort, and a powerful rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that will prolong playtime by up to five hours.
The final two accessories will compliment the Xbox 360's wireless controllers. The Neo Recharge Pack will feature a rechargeable battery pack that will provide the wireless controller with up to 40 hours of playtime – a considerable boost. The last peripheral is an innovative one. The Neo Communicator will replace the headset for Xbox Live communication with a speaker and microphone for wireless communication. A small speaker will connect into the same port as the standard headset.
There is no word on when these exciting peripheral will hit US shores, but stay with Mygamer.com for more information.
