Fight the Evil Ashurin Empire in Konami's All-New Downloadable Puzzle PRG Game Konami announced that Puzzle Chronicles a fast action puzzle role-playing game, is now available via download for Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network and Windows PC. With a combination of traditional puzzle gaming and deep RPG elements, Puzzle Chronicles is one of the most immersive puzzle games to hit the market.
In Puzzle Chronicles, players set off as the hero on a quest for revenge in the savage lands of the Ashurin Empire. On their journey, they will battle sorceresses, warlords, savage demons and more in order to free their tribesman from the Empire's control.
Traveling far and wide through enchanting environments, enemies are battled with a new puzzle combat system that challenges players to think fast and act strategically in order to defeat their opponents. Gamers must also complete a series of quests across various locations including battlefields, desert crypts and the palace of the tyrannical Emperor.
Using powerful physical and magical attacks, devastating blows and powerful spells are also unleashed to gain the upper hand and defeat the many enemies that lie throughout the Empire. Adding to the replay value, gamers will have the opportunity to battle sinister wizards, huge monsters, and evil overlords in three different gameplay modes including Quick Battle and local or online versus. Gamers can level up their character and their pet Warbeast, and customize their puzzle combat style using mighty weapons, enchanted armor, special battle skills and more.
For additional interaction, players can challenge their friends to multiplayer battles via local WiFi on the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable, or on the Internet on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStationNetwork and PC.
Puzzle Chronicles is rated E10+ by the ESRB and is now available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft points, PlayStation Network for $9.99, Windows PC download for $9.99, and Nintendo DS, PSP and PSPgo download for $29.99.
