Marooners PC Early Impressions with Stream
There has always been a clear divide of arena style games, like your classic Quake, and party games like Mario Party. But now M2H is combining these two genres into what seems to be the most frenetic, chaotic, spastic couch and online game I’ve ever seen.
Here is a recorded stream of Marooners:
With tons of very different characters, on an island lost to time, you battle with your friends and online players in various modes of both a casual party game, or a death to all arena. With an interesting option of choosing either play style, or a random choice of either at the multiplayer screen, making for some pretty interesting matchups. The animations are cute, the play speed is off the charts, and I promise you won’t get bored, because you won’t have time to develop the thought of boredom in this incredibly fast play style.
Lots of different strategies, gameplay, challenges and maps can be seen here, along with some very kid friendly animations and sound effects. Fun for everyone, it’s a good attempt at a fusion of genres that normally wouldn’t go together, but this maybe the “chocolate in my peanut butter” of unlikely fusions, and it’s easy to check out for the low price to fun ratio.
