For comic book fans, most specifically those who follow the events of the Marvel comics universe, let the feeding frenzy begin. Activision is spotlighting three upcoming Marvel franchises at this year's Comic Con, from July 19 to July 23, across multiple platforms. Not only that, Comic Con is the last chance for talented fans to audition for the opportunity to voice the in-game characters of Jean Grey and Namor – The King of Atlantis in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, from the developers at Raven Software, gives players the ability to create their own Marvel dream team from an initial playable roster of 20 Marvel universe characters and featuring a total of more than 140 in all. The usual suspects return in Spiderman, Wolverine, Blade, Captain American, and more popular Marvel characters. In this action/RPG hybrid, players will traverse established comic book locales in their epic quest to defeat Dr. Doom and his cohorts.
Spider-Man: Battle for New York follows an original storyline through the perspective of both your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and his none-too-friendly nemesis, The Green Goblin. Players now have the freedom to choose when and which skills to upgrade during their handheld quest (on DS and GBA).
As for Spider-Man 3: The Game, it's safe to say that details will closely follow the movie. Tune your spidey senses towards Mygamer for more info on the movie and game as it breaks.
