Hideo Kojima has announced a sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3 on the PSP, telling the story of Naked Snake, now named Big Boss, and events that take place six years after MGS3, in the year 1970. Kojima has said that Big Boss will be able to bring together an army (which eventually becomes Foxhound of MGS1 fame) which will be comprised of unique soldiers and has said that he hopes these units are collectible like marbles or cards. Oh, and when they die, they're DEAD (a la Fire Emblem). Performance in battle will affect your army as well. Losing or surrendering battles will cause deserting, and winning will have people clamoring to join. The game will be tied into MGS4, as well. No release date has been announced.
