The release date for the latest edition of the Medal of Honor games, Pacific Assault, has been moved up. The special DVD Director’s Edition is now due on November 2 while the regular version is available on November 9.
Back in August, fans of the World War II FPS were told that they would have to wait until November to get their hands on this title. In a message on the game’s official site, the game’s developers at Electronic Arts’ Los Angeles studio had this to say:
“EA has listened to the feedback of critics and consumers who have played an early build of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault; their high expectations encouraged us to add some extra time to the development schedule in order to add new features and an extra coat of polish to the game.”
The Director’s Edition doesn’t come cheap however. Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault Director’s Edition will cost $10 more than the regular edition at an MSRP of $59.99
