It is a big week for Natsume as they just launched two games on the Nintendo eShop: Gotcha Racing and Brave Tank Hero.
Natsume just launched its newest 3DS title, Gotcha Racing. Combining a top-down racing style with drifting mechanics alongside a capsule machine draw system for new parts, players will dive into an addictive mix of gameplay that will draw in casual drivers, as well as hardcore speed demons, starting today. The game is rated E for Everyone, and is available for download on the 3DS eShop for $5.99 USD.
“Earlier this month, our first Arc System Works title hit the 3DS with the launch of Brave Tank Hero, and now we are excited to bring yet another fun and addictive title with Gotcha Racing,” said Hiro Maekawa, president and CEO of Natsume Inc.
Gotcha Racing is a top-down racing game with a twist: Capsule Machines dispense parts you use to make your car! As racers progress and gain access to better Capsule Machines, your car will become the envy of the racing world! Once you’re driving the perfect car, race on 12 different tracks, compete in Grand Prix races, and conquer six different racing grades while trying your luck with numerous capsule machines to unlock.
Using both screens on the 3DS means plenty of track visibility, and seeing your personalized car front and center makes for an exciting perspective not typically seen in other racing games. Use StreetPass to race against other players and receive even more parts, or tap into Play Coins for special parts not available anywhere else!
Natsume launched its newest title, Brave Tank Hero, for Nintendo Wii U. Developed by Arc System Works, the game is available now for Wii U at a retail price of $5.99 USD and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. The game launched earlier this month on 3DS, and is available for $4.99 USD.
Paradise City has been invaded! It’s up to you, brave soldier, to help take the city back! Players can choose from three different types of tanks to take on the enemy, including huge and fearsome boss tanks! Each mission has its own goal, varying from defeating all enemies, taking down a specific base, rescuing a civilian vehicle, and more. To accomplish goals and grab the highest star ranking, players can choose to deploy one of three tanks.
At the start of each mission, players will need to choose which tank will fit the mission parameters best. Each tank has six stats to consider including: Turret, which dictates how frequently a tank can fire, Max Speed, which dictates how quickly the tank can travel, Endurance, which determines how many enemy attacks a tank can withstand, as well as Firepower, Weight, and Range.
The Wii U version also comes with some extra goodies: both Vs. Play and Vs. Co-Op play! Wii U owners also gain some special missions, and can additionally take on more challenging versions of each boss tank after completing the game!
