The Gold Classics Pack for New Super Mario Bros. 2 on 3DS is going to be free until 1-31-2013. The three levels included are throwbacks to classic stages from Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 from the NES era. These stages are for the exclusive Coin Rush mode and has been given a difficulty rating of 1/5 stars.
Nintendo is giving this DLC away for free to celebrate the worldwide collection of 300 billion coins.
This DLC is only a couple blocks worth of space so there is no need to worry about it taking up precious storage space on your SD card.
This DLC pack will then sell for $2.50 after 1/31/2013.
