Microsoft has officially announced the newest 360 version entitled, Xbox 360 Arcade. For the most part the "Arcade" system is the "Core" system, only with a few additions and modifications.
The Arcade system will cost gamers $279 and it will not include a hard drive, but the console will include a wireless controller, and at least three Xbox Live Arcade games: Pac-Man, Uno, and Luxor 2. Some online sites and reports also say the new 360 version will come with five arcade games in total, by adding Boom-Boom Rocket and Feeding Frenzy to the list.
With a Xbox 360 Arcade price point very close to the Nintendo Wii's, and the price points of the PS3 systems, the console wars should be quite interesting this holiday season.
