EA Sports BIG announced earlier today that New York Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey and hip hop artist Xzibit will grace the cover of the upcoming [i]NFL Street 2[/i] together. Following the game that sold over a million copies, [i]NFL Street 2[/i] will look to add another dimension to gameplay by adding wall moves and more high flying football that made it so popular.
“If it wasn’t for the kind of street football played in [i]NFL STREET 2[/i], I would not be where I am today,” said Shockey. “This is how most NFL players started their careers and now you can play at a new level, an-all new high flying football game with incredible wall moves and new modes like Crush the Carrier and Jump Ball Battle.”
This time around, players will have 10 new enviornments in Bay City to play in and build teams, reps ,and battle plans.
In the annoucement, EA Sports also revealed that the game will now ship this year on December 26, two weeks ahead of schedule. The game will be available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Gamecube.
