EA has released its annual installment into the hockey video game genre, ready to compete with [i]ESPN NHL 2k5[/i]. The console version of the game (available for all current platforms) will retail for $49.99, while the PC version is listed at only $39.99. [i]NHL 2005[/i] is rated “E” for everyone.
EA Sports claims this year’s installment to have a completely revamped skating engine, face-off formations to affect puck drops, as well as a brand new feature called “Open Ice Control,” which will allow players with much more flexible offensive and defensive options.
