After remaining so very silent, Nintendo has unveiled some new information on what we will be seeing later this year. With Mario Kart coming up at the end of April (the 27th to be exact) and the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games to be out in about a little over a week now, one asks themselves “well what else does Nintendo have going for it?” Well to now answer that question, we have the upcoming WiiFit to be released in the US on May 21st for a price of $90.
Continuing the trend of casual and non-gamer games, Wii Fit will test you athletic ability by gaging your body mass, center of gravity and more. Think of it as your physical version of the DS game Brain Age.
The other news to take note of was the now announced Super Mario Sluggers. The game will be launching in Japan in June so expect a release date to come there afterward. Some may think of this as simply Wii Sports baseball with Mario characters now, but rest assured the game's controls and options are far more fleshed out and diverse than the launch game. You'll have much more control over your pitches and swings now and anyone who has played a Mario sports title can expect power-ups and other interesting Mario-esqe abilities to add excitement to the gameplay.
