Nintendo’s recent success has brought it to be the second most valuable company in Japan, worth roughly 73.38 billion dollars. The success managed to push back long time second, Cannon, into third place but is still roughly 1/3 the total value of Toyota (209 billion).
This also comes with news that Sony is not longer in the top ten. This is rather interesting because Nintendo is the only of the big three video game companies that only makes video game hardware and software, and even Toyota dabbles in other markets, such as creepy robots that will probably one day take over the world.
