Bethesda Softworks announced today that [I]Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion[/I] has achieved record sales, over 1.7 million sold for the PC and Xbox 360.[p]Bethesda reports that [I]Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion[/I] has appeared on more than 30 magazine covers in the US, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and other countries. It was released in five different languages – English, French, Spanish, German and Italian – and package as a collector’s edition in North America, Europe, Australia and parts of Asia.[p]The NPD Group, a market research group, reports [I]Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion[/I] as the current best selling PC game, with the collector’s edition ranking in at number two.
