Konami announced the release of a playable demo for its eagerly awaited Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 title. The demo is now available for Windows PC, and gives Pro Evolution Soccer fans a chance to experience the game early in its development cycle and prior to release.
This first demo is based on a preview build of the game. While it is not is not truly representative of the final game, KONAMI wants Pro Evolution Soccer enthusiasts to try out the game's many new Teammate Control elements and experience the realism that Active AI brings to Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 prior to launch. The demo also showcases the individuality of the many teams in the game, and users can pick from a roster of six teams and their playing styles – Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto, S.S.C Napoli, Santos FC, and C.A. Pañarol – and pit them against each other in a round of 10-minute match plays. The demo also features key Challenge Training elements, where fans can practice the new control systems to fully enjoy the game.
The Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 demo is available at http://dl.pes2012demo.konamionline.com/pes2012demo/PES2012DEMO.zip and will also be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early September. Release dates for Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2 and PSP versions will be announced in the future.
