Pokemon fans are buzzing on the internet about the newly announced remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver for the DS. They are being renamed “Pokemon Heart Gold” and “Pokemon Soul Silver” and will feature slightly updated graphics and sound, as well as better multiplayer using the WiFi capabilities of the DS. The games will be released in Japan on the 10th anniversary of the originals.
Many Pokemon fans found the Gameboy Color generation to be among the best, thanks to the Team Rocket-centered story and enormous amount of post-Elite Four content, which included a return to the first generation’s Kanto region.
